Laura Lorentz: Alright, welcome. Welcome to this masterclass. Welcome to the business of individuality. So I don't do free Master classes very often because it's got to be something that I am 100% aligned and my energy has to be 100% behind it. It has to be something that I'm really excited and really passionate about sharing. Otherwise it's not something that I focus on, it's not something that I typically do in my business. That's what I call individual intelligence is this deep understanding of ourself, and this is how I run my business. So the themes for today that we're going to be talking about are about building this personal power, this personal authority for ourselves and this self leadership, this unshakeable trust. And so it's just going to be a really powerful hour that we spend together. And so I am Laura Lawrence. I am a human Design mentor, business coach, and one three emotional projector. So I'm so excited for everyone listening to this call. And so we're going to be here together for about an hour. The more excited and engaged people are in the things that I do, the more energy that I bring to it, the more potent the content is. So thank you for that. I appreciate it. So we're going to start off this master class, actually talking about collective energy, and we're going to be talking about the cycle shifts that we're currently experiencing. And so it is having a profound impact on our world right now, which has a massive opportunity for heart centered leaders, service based business owners to really stand out and lead in very meaningful ways right now. So what are these collective shifts? So I've said on my social media that there's something about 2027, there's something about this year, and this is all part of human design. So 2027 is a global cycle shift. And so that is the underlying energy that the entire collective is experiencing right now. So we are currently in the cross of planning, and we've been in this cross since 1615. So hundreds of years we have been in the cross of planning. And so this cross so in your individual human design chart is your incarnation cross. We each all have an individual incarnation cross. And that incarnation cross is your purpose in life. It is that theme of your incarnation in this lifetime. And so we all experience the collective also experiences a cross or an incarnation cross for the collective. That's the collective energy that we're experiencing. So it consists of four gates. And so those four gates are the energies that the collective is experiencing. And so the cross of planning that we are in right now is really this like, collective energy. So it's all about global communities, collective governments, Social Security and safety, interdependent economics. And so since 1615, this has been the rise of interdependent bodies across the globe. It's been our banking system, hospitals and health care systems. So think of any system or like, group or body that is here to support a larger group of people. So that is the energy that we've been experiencing is like, how do we come together to create these systems to support people as a whole? And that has been the energy. But come 2027 as a whole, as a collective, we are moving into the cross of the sleeping phoenix. And so RA, the founder of Human Design, calls this cycle shift. He calls this cycle the cycle of the individual, the age of the individual. So what that means is that we are all sinking into our own personal desires. What are our needs, what do we desire? Asking ourselves like, what are my beliefs? What do I believe in? And using our own inner authority, using our own intuition to make the decisions that are right for us in our life. So we have been experiencing this, although I say that this shift happens in 2027, we've already been experiencing this energy. It's coming, it's coming. And we're experiencing these shifts to get us ready for it. So it is not like this big bang, all of a sudden, 2027 hits and we're experiencing this energy. It's been something that's been building, and it's been building for a number of years, but in the last couple of years, it has been at rapid speed. So in our lifetime, for most of us, the biggest shift was the 2008 recession. So for most of us that are like under 40 years old, the biggest shift that we've experienced in our lifetime is the 2008 recession. And then recently what's happened is the global pandemic. So the global pandemic hit in 2020, which really forced us to get clear on what is it that I believe in? You know, the whole world shut down and it got us uncomfortable because we had to tune out the noise of the world and we had to come back to ourselves, ask ourselves, what is it that I believe in? What are my beliefs? There was so much that came up about government mandates, vaccines, all of that, and everybody had to take a stance, what is it that I believe? And so that was a huge event. There's also the war with Russia and Ukraine and that's impacting global supply, oil, energy. We're facing an energy crisis with that. We're also headed into a recession. We're at the beginning of a recession. So that's getting everyone to look at their finances and what they believe. And this is these sorts of things. What's going to happen as we move into 2027, is it's going to be this breaking down, this breaking down of governments, the banking system, collective bodies and systems are essentially going to break down in order for the individual to rise. And so when I say this, I say this not to instill fear in people, not to instill like the sense of panic, like, oh my God, all of these events are happening. This is a really exciting time to be alive, a really exciting time to be incarnated because of these changes and our souls, we all signed up to be here at this time, at this shift. And so all of these global events that are impacting us on an individual level are happening for our highest good. They are happening for our evolution as a society, as a collective. All of these things are for us. Because if some of these events did not occur, it probably wouldn't force us to change. If life went on status quo, it wouldn't force us to change, it wouldn't force us to evolve. And we probably wouldn't learn the lessons that our souls signed up for at this particular point in time. So I want you to take this, what I've said, not with fear or trepidation, I want you to take what I said with excitement to know that we are part of something so much bigger and there is huge, huge opportunity in this. So what's happening? How do we get ready for this? And the big thing about this is this deconditioning process really stepping in and asking ourselves, what is it that I believe in? What is it that I desire?
Laura Lorentz: Who am I?
Laura Lorentz: What is my purpose in life? And the more that we can like strip back the layers of what our parents told us about what society has dictated as right or wrong, that is moving towards this energy, this energy of this global shift that we are experiencing in 2027. And so those who are going to thrive post 2027 are those who are not afraid of this work, those who are not afraid of changing, of evolving, of questioning, of going deep into their emotions. Because the other piece of this shift too is we've all been up in our heads, we've all been up in our brains as part of the cross of planning. As we move into the cross of the sleeping phoenix, it is going deep into our emotions. So I think this is so cool because I just had this realization today is the sleeping phoenix. It's like going down into the depths, burning of the ashes, and then the phoenix rising. That is very scorpio energy. And we are currently in scorpio season. So I feel like I was led to provide this masterclass today. But that's very much the energy of the sleeping phoenix. It's like we have been sleeping for so long, we have not been feeling our emotions, we have been numb to society. And what we've been told and taught that now it's like we are unearthing. We are going deep into the depths of our emotions, of our feelings, of our desires, of our needs, and we are rising, rising like the phoenix. And that is, that is what this energy is all about. And so it's really cool. It is really, really exciting. And so for us, know that you are a leader, that you will be a leader through this transformation because I know that you're already doing this work. You're already starting to question, you're already deconditioning and getting prepared. Your soul has been guiding you, has been leading you, directing you. And so just know that you are going to be a leader in this space come 2027. So keep doing the work, keep doing the deconditioning. Because think about when you first started on this path, this path of self discovery, this path of deconditioning, and remember like how lost you felt or how uncomfortable it felt. And as you were going through this process, people started popping up in your lives, mentors, leaders, people that started getting you to think differently, started guiding you on your path, making you feel seen, making you feel like you're not alone and that you know you are on the right path. You are going to be that person for the masses, for the other people that are waking up at rapid rates right now. So have comfort, have knowing that you are here for a purpose, that you are here to lead, that you are here to guide. So what does this mean? So I want to bring it back to the coaching industry and this online business in general. So the coaching industry right now is about a $30 billion industry worldwide. It is huge and it is one of the only industries in the entire world that has seen high single digit, low double digit growth year over year for the last five years. It has seen tremendous, tremendous growth. And I just want to reiterate how this is just the beginning. This is just the beginning for this industry. Because of these energetic collective shifts, more and more people are waking up. And so there is going to be more and more opportunity to guide and to lead people. So if you have been questioning either, A, getting into this industry and really starting your business and claiming yourself as a leader, or maybe you've been questioning your current position in this industry, am I really, is this really what I'm meant to do? Is this really what I'm supposed to do? If you are a heart centered leader and you truly care about the people and providing quality services that support people that leading with integrity, this is literally the best time to be getting in and starting. And so Jordan saying that this is so spot on, that this resonate so much, I'm so glad because it is so, so true. And so this is where I believe human design comes in in such a major way. So human design is what has led and guided and shared all of this information about these shifts for 2027. So human design is such a powerful tool to guide people on their journey in this time. So by looking at someone's human design chart, we can see how they're designed to operate, their personality, their gifts, their strengths, where they're susceptible to conditioning, how other people and their environments affect them, and ultimately their purpose in life. And these are all of the questions that people are going to be asking. It is no longer about that one size fits all strategy. You know, what works for me is going to work for you. It's about seeing people as individuals, their unique energy, their unique conditioning. And so understanding human design is so impactful in business, whether you're a coach or whether you're a healer or whether you're an online service provider. Because what it does is it helps you see clients and know exactly like, I mean, exactly where your clients are operating out of their genius, where they are more susceptible to conditioning, where they're absorbing too much from the outside world and they're not tapping into their own inner authority. Human design provides this confidence in yourself, this unshakable trust in trusting your, knowing your inner guidance, and tapping into those strengths that are so innate within you. It's like this accelerated path to self development. So I want to share with you a personal story about when I started in the coaching industry. So I started my business, and it really wasn't a business. I had one client in 2020, but it was the start. It was the start of my journey. So in 2020, I had hired a business coach to help me get my business going, launch it. And at the time, I was not into human design. I knew very little about it. I knew of it, but I knew very little about it. I was a business coach for moms because I was a new mother. I had all of this business background from going to business school and my corporate experience, strategy experience. And so I took all of the things that were so natural to me and I wanted to provide that to other people. So I hired my very first business coach to support me on this. And so she was a manifesting generator. And I admired her so much from the outside world. I looked at her, she had multiple businesses. She was a multiple sixfigure business owner. She had so many achievements and accomplishments. And I admired the very strategic mindset that she had. And looking back, I look at that and I really hired her based on my projector conditioning, in terms of how I thought I needed to operate. I saw her at how much she did. I admired for her for how much she did not, based on my own projector gifts, of seeing and guiding people. But that was my conditioning. I saw her and I hired her through my conditioning of what I thought I needed to be like. And so we began working together. I started implementing some of the strategies that she operates in her business. And the thing was, it didn't feel fun, it didn't feel enjoyable. And I completely burnt myself out within the first three months of working with her. And the thing was, is that I saw her success. I saw what she did, I implemented what she did, but I did not see the results. And what did I do? I made it mean something about me, about my ability, my ability to achieve success. So how many of you have done the same? You see what someone does, it works for them, it works for other people. So you implement what they do and then you don't see the results. So you make it mean something about you and you go into the spiral of why can't I do that? Why can't I make this work? And so let me be the first to tell you, if no one's told you this already, but you did nothing wrong. First of all, you were doing something that you were not designed to operate in that way. And second of all, this is why it's so important in a coaching relationship, in a service based relationship, for you to understand a yourself, as an individual, as the coach or as the service provider, and to understand your clients. So now how I run my business is a completely different dynamic because I operate as the leader of my business. I know what's right for me because I have built this foundation for myself in my business, built on self awareness. I know what works, I know it doesn't work. I know what is right for me. And so no matter what someone tells me, I can run it through my own filter. I still hire coaches, I still work with people and it doesn't matter. So I want to be clear, I'm not saying if you're a projector, don't hire a manifesting generator or don't hire another energy type. That's not what I'm saying. I'm just saying that the observant in terms of what they have to offer. So for example, my COO of my business, so she's the one who does a lot of money, like building out my launches, supporting me on my podcast, all of that. I hire her because she's a generator and she has this sustainable energy and she loves systems, she loves building things and she loves seeing things differently and how it can support me as a business owner. And that is what she loves. And she's so passionate and she has the energy to do and to create. So of course I'm going to hire her because that is her zone of genius. It's all about working with people in terms of your zone of genius, and knowing what is right for you. So when you know what's right for you, that's when you build this solid foundation in your business. So I look at human design as a foundation of a house. So I like to use this analogy. Human design is like a foundation of a house. If you're building a house and it has cracks in the foundation or it's not a stable foundation, you start building upon it and it's going to fall, it's going to crumble. It's the same thing with your business. If you don't have this foundation in terms of self leadership, self awareness, self trust, you layer on top of that strategy, you layer on top of that marketing approaches, sales strategies, sales tactics, all of those sorts of things, it's going to crumble. And so for you as a business owner, knowing yourself and your clients, knowing themselves, that's when you build lasting results. That's when you can build on that foundation. That's when you can scale your business, is when you have this just unshakable trust in yourself. That is that foundation in your business. I want to give another example too of how I coach my clients based on understanding their human design. So this week I had a coaching call with one of my clients and so she said to me, laura, I want to grow my business. I'm currently at eight k months. So she's an online business manager. Just so you guys have context, she's an online business manager. She has consistent eight k months, but she can't break that ceiling. She can't break above eight k. She told me I haven't posted on social media since June, and I feel like I need to really get back on social media and I need to get back out there. So her human design for awareness, she is a five two sacral generator. And so I asked her, OK, so how have you grown your business today? How have you gotten to these eight k months? And so she told me it's been referralbased. That's how she's grown her business. Existing clients refer her to new clients, or people in her network refer her to new clients. So there's two pieces to this that we talked about. So one, she has a two in her profile. So the thing with the second line, so a second line person is the hermit. That's what the second line is. And so the second line, I know through my understanding of human design that referrals are a huge part of your business. You have this unique genius about you, this unique gift that no one else has. And when you can work with someone and they can experience your genius, it is just pure magic. They want to tell everyone about working with you. They want to tell everyone about their experience working with you. So referrals, so servicing the **** out of your existing clients helps you to build that referral network. So I know that about the second line. So I said to her and then I asked her, so do you enjoy getting on social media? Do you enjoy doing stories? Do you enjoy doing lives? Do you enjoy writing long form posts? What do you enjoy about social media? And she came back to me and said, none of it. I don't enjoy it at all. And so as a generator, generators need to be excited about what they're doing. Generators need to feel this like just excitement welling up. Like they've got something to share, that they need to share it, that they want to share it. And so for her, there was no excitement. So a coach who doesn't necessarily have this understanding of human design and understanding of their own client would have probably brought in their own conditioning, their own experience, their own lessons to say, hey, I grew my business based on social media. You should too. Whereas in my world, no rules apply. It is really all about how do you want to grow your business, what is your authority, what is your self inner guidance telling you? And so what we did was we built out three pillars of girls for her. One, continue servicing the **** out of her existing clients so that they can build a referral network. Two, building out an affiliate program. So offering referral bonuses to those who have worked with her or those in her community that can then grow out. And then the other piece was building out individual services so that at a low cost way that people can come in and experience what it is that her genius of what she has to offer, which will then lead potentially to longer term clients. So we built out three separate ways that was not related to growing through social media because that's not something that comes natural, it's not something that she's excited about. So this is how I coach my clients and this is how others in my world coach their clients, is really based on their unique and individual blueprint, not how society dictates that ten step process or the way that others have necessarily grown their business. It's like what is right for you? And so this like I'm giving a business coaching example, but this can apply in a healing context as well. This can apply in other service based business contexts as well. So I wanted to share that example. So in terms of looking at a human design chart, so what are the things that I look at in someone's human design chart in order to see what moves the needle or how to pinpoint what is going on with their client or with your client? So the key aspects of human design so I'm going to go over the key aspects of a human design term, kind of how I see things or how I utilize them. The most important thing is understanding someone's energy type. So if you don't. Know their energy type. Nothing else in the human design chart matters. And I know that there's a lot of adversion for people just to look at the energy types alone because it's bucketing people into these categories. So I always say it's the most important, but it's not the only thing. But you need it to start. And so understanding someone's energy type is how they're designed to operate and their strategy goes along with that. So you always want to look at their energy type and their strategy because that's how they're designed to operate. So for example, a projector, a projector is here to guide people. It's not based on how much they do. And their strategy is to wait for the invitation so they're not here to initiate. So if you're working with a client that is hustling doing DMs, you know, cold calling people you obviously know right out of the gate that that projector is working out of alignment. So how can you bring them back to their own zone of genius? You can even look at what they're offering in terms of their services. Is it something that requires them to do a lot versus providing leadership and guidance to other people? So that's something to look at. Generators and manifesting generators are here to do, are here to create, but it's important that they follow the things that they're passionate about, that they're excited about. So if you're finding that generator or manifesting generator is coming to you that is completely drained, low energy, it's like coming back to like do you actually enjoy what you do? Like, that is the fundamental question. And their strategy is to respond, to respond to what their clients want, what the industry trends are for, whatever industry that they're in, responding to their life. Like if you're a relationship coach, are they responding to what their partner wants, what their partner needs, are they listening to their own needs? All of those sorts of things. The manifestor is the visionary is the person with all of the ideas, but they don't have that sustainable energy to bring things to life like the generators and manifesting generators do. So the manifestos are really the idea generator, like the CEOs of the world where they've got all these ideas and these visions, but they need teams to bring it to life. They need support, they need someone to help them kind of like package the idea. Like they lead movements. They're often probably the boldest people in your life. Like if they're in true alignment, they are very bold. They say what's on their mind, they speak their truth. And that is a manifesto in their true energy. So if they're not speaking their truth, if they're not sharing their boldness, then there's an opportunity for some fine tweaking there and they are the only energy type that's here to initiate. So that is their strategy to initiate and to inform and make things happen that's really what that energy is all about. And then lastly is the reflectors. So the reflectors are only 1% of the world's population, and reflectors are in the mirrors of the world. They see what's going on, they sense, they absorb, they have all open energy centers. So they're very much like absorbing the people of the energy, the environments that they're in, and they're amplifying out that energy that they experience. So really making sure that they are surrounded by the right people, if they're surrounded by people that aren't supporting them, don't see their vision, are unhealthy or unhealed in their environments, it's going to be very draining on them. Especially I often find, actually, I recorded a podcast this week with a reflector, and oftentimes I hear about reflectors having very traumatic childhoods because they're always absorbing. And it's not until later in life that they find these energetic practices to delineate what's mine and what someone else is. So understanding the dynamics of a reflector in their environment is so key, and their strategy is to wait 28 days, which is a lunar cycle, and so their energy is very much tied to the moon cycle. So from new Moon to new Moon, they experience a whole range of themes based on that moon energy. And so there's lots of lessons and things for them to experience over a 28 day cycle. So it's not about rushing, it's not about forcing things for them, it's allowing life to flow and to unfold and not having pressure of the outside world to do things in a quick way. Like everybody says, the next piece is your authority. So once you understand your clients energy type, the authority is the next most game changing piece. And this is how they tap into their decision making. So we are conditioned to believe that we are meant to make decisions with our brains. And really, it's a different sensation in our body, a different body part, I guess you could say a different area of our body, that's a better way of describing it. A different area of our body or a different sensation in our body that helps us and guides us in terms of making decisions. So you could have an emotional authority, which rides emotional waves. And when you get to that moment of neutrality or clarity, that's when you're meant to make decisions. It's not about the highs or the lows. Someone could be a sacral. So it's like this gut feeling that guides them. Someone could be a spleenic, which are these instant hits of drop down, intuitive knowings it could be their ego, which is their heart, and based on their desires. So there's a variety of different authorities. And so knowing that about your client, you can help them, guide them to make a decision that's best for them. Not everyone is meant to make a decision in a moment. Not everyone saying like, well, what's the first thing that comes to your mind? Or what's the first instinct that you have? Not everyone is meant to operate that way. So forcing someone in a coaching relationship or a service relationship, it doesn't always work that way. So understanding their authority and how they make decisions. So, for example, someone with an emotional authority, you may provide some suggestions or some guidance to them, but then say, you know what, take 24 hours, take a week, fill it out and come back to me in terms of what conclusion you've come to on that. So that's very important. And that's, for me, I think where I built a lot of this unshakable trust in myself is knowing the dynamics of how my body feels when I'm making decisions about what offers to put out there. You know, decisions in terms of investing in my business. All of those things like understanding how your body communicates to you, has been just so game changing for me personally and how I guide my clients. The next piece is the profile lines. So profile lines are your personality. So there's two numbers in your profile. And so the first number in your profile is your conscious personality. It's a piece of your personality that you will notice in yourself time and time again. And then the second number in someone's profile is the unconscious personality. So they may or may not recognize these qualities or traits in themselves. Other people recognize it, and they may recognize it in themselves. But the whole idea behind the profile lines is about this, like, harmonization, this balancing of these two pieces of your personality, allowing both of them to come out. And so for me, when I'm guiding clients, I often look to the profile lines for guidance on marketing sales. It's like, how do you interact with the outside world? What is so natural to you? How do you become so natural and magnetic to that outside world? It can also be used in terms of, like, how to operate in your business too, if you're a relationship coach. This is also how, when you're operating in alignment with these two energies, this is what calls in your partner. I find how you best communicate and work with your partner is understanding your profile lines, things like that, very, very helpful. The next piece is the energy centers. And so there are nine energy centers. So these closely mirror the traditional chakra system. But the traditional chakra system is seven energy centers. This is nine. And so there are some nuances, but a lot of similarities to it. And so how I use energy centers with my clients is understanding with the undefined centers. So the white energy centers, I use those to understand what are they taking on, where is the conditioning, what isn't theirs, like, what really isn't their beliefs, and what are they taking on from the outside world? The defined centers are really their zone of genius. This is their strengths. So how can they play up these things more. So for example, if they have a defined throat, how can you get out more and speak your truth? How can you share that? Is it? If I'm looking from a social media perspective, doing lives, doing stories, podcasts, things like that, how can you really, truly step into your zone of genius by looking at those energy centers? And then also the gates within that are also indicators too of where the strength of those energy centers lie, what's the overall themes or the overall vibes of those energy centers too. And then lastly, the last piece that I look at is the Incarnation Cross. And so we talked a little bit about the Incarnation Cross at the beginning, but this is people's purpose in life. This is what they are, the themes that they will experience in life time and time again. And so aligning with and understanding their Incarnation Cross. The four gates that make up their Incarnation Cross really helps them to accelerate their path, think deeper into the trust of what they're here to do, are here to create. Because within there, there's pieces of your purpose, your life's work, your evolution, like the greatest challenges, and then also the energy of like, where are you in your element, where are you in your zone of genius? So for me, I have Gate 31 in my Incarnation Cross, which is all about leadership. So me being here, sharing my wisdom, sharing my knowledge, like I am totally in my element, doing this and sharing this with you. So it's just that piece alone is game changing and transformational for my clients to understand that and pick up the pieces that are getting them to step greater into their zone of genius and also understanding like where their conditioning lies to in those spaces.
